Really: Tyga and Kylie Jenner Cited for Using Too Much Water During California Drought
If you thought the drought on Actavis was something, the water drought in California is serious business. It’s the biggest in the state’s history. It’s at a point where residents in certain locations are only allowed to use a certain amount of water per week for outside use. Apparently, Tyga and his girlfriend Kylie Jenner either didn’t get the memo or are breaking the rules a little bit. According the Hollywood Reporter, the famous couple has been cited by for going over the limit on their water supply.
According to the report, this June the Las Virgenes Municipal Water District (which both Kylie and Tyga’s home’s fall under) started actively seeking out violators of the strict water guidelines, employing a private security firm to handle the matter. In the first month, the district located over 200 violations including the residences of Tyga and Kylie. The couple could face a $100 fine which will increase to $500 on the fourth violation. On the fifth offense, the city has the authority to cut the water supply to a home. Other residents who have exceeded the water ordinance before include Dr. Dre.
“We have actually reached out to celebrities in our district,” Dave Pedersen, general manager of the Las Virgenes Municipal Water District told NBC. “I have personally written letters to them asking them to take a stand on conservation.”
Tyga recently dropped his new mixtape, Fuk What They Talkin Bout which is the follow up to Tyga’s The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty that finally dropped in June following numerous setbacks.
